ROTARY WIPER
Kowa’s rotary wiper camera unit is a robust, water, residue and oil-resistant vision system designed for harsh machine-tool environments. This all-in-one solution, featuring integrated housing, lens, camera, cabling, and software ensures easy installation while delivering consistent optical clarity through its rotary wiper technology, which prevents residue buildup. By maintaining a clear view of manufacturing processes, it enhances operational efficiency, reduces the need for machine stops, and minimizes production delays.
AIR CURTAIN
This product is designed for use with the TC1 Series lens tube, a protective housing that safeguards lenses against dust, water, and other airborne contaminants in demanding industrial environments. By continuously supplying a controlled stream of air, the system actively clears the lens cover’s front glass, helping to remove water droplets, fine powder, and other particles that could obstruct the view. This constant airflow ensures that the imaging system maintains a clean, unobstructed optical surface, resulting in consistently clear and reliable vision performance.
LENS TUBES
Two specialized protective tubes are available to enhance the durability and functionality of Kowa lenses. When attached to non-water-resistant lenses, these covers elevate the overall protection to an IP69 waterproof rating. In addition to improved water resistance, they also provide enhanced oil resistance.
These covers are designed to accommodate the installation of optical filters within the housing, allowing for further customization, performance optimization, and added protection.
